Our flagship offering is a respite for families living through childhood cancer, who we call our Retreat Families. We exist to provide you with a week of deep rest, relational connection, great laughter, and palpable kindness. Each week is designed to bring your family rest, joy, restoration, and hope in more than just a cure, but a hope in God.

Common Ground

Common Ground is a safe place for parents to connect with other parents living through a cancer diagnosis for their children. While volunteers take care of their children in Flip Flop, each morning parents of children on treatment get time away together to build community and share their stories with other parents who understand.

Flip Flop

This is a time for fun in the sun with all volunteer and Retreat Family kids! Flip Flop happens every day when Retreat Family parents go to Common Ground. All of the kids are separated into groups to make life-long friends, go swimming, play games, and make memories!

PNO

During the Unbirthday Party, Retreat Family parents, parents to children on treatment, get to have the evening out to spend time together over dinner and reconnect like they haven't in a long time. Everything is taken care of for them to enjoy their evening out together!

UnBirthday

During Parents' Night Out, all Family Partners and kids have a HUGE UnBirthday party to celebrate every child on that retreat! There is dancing, streamers, cupcakes, pizza, games, balloons, and more!

Moms & Dads Only

Both Retreat Moms and Retreat Dads have a special time during a retreat to bond together and enjoy each other's company. Dads get together one night to test their poker skills over beef jerky and root beer. We also have a special afternoon just for Retreat Family moms with a catered lunch, gifts, and some surprises to show our appreciation for all they do.

Beach Picnic

Everyone gathers on the beach one night for dinner by the ocean. Retreat Families and volunteers get to spend time together and enjoy a relaxing picnic in the sand. Retreat Families also have the opportunity to get family photos by the water!
