CARE TEAM VOLUNTEERS
What are Care Teams?
Care Teams consist of 5-8 volunteer families or individuals willing to come alongside an assigned family during their cancer fight to provide support and encouragement. Care Teams support families living through childhood cancer beyond retreats in their everyday life. It is an opportunity for church partners, small groups, mission teams, and individuals to serve together while building community.
An Opportunity for You
Families living through childhood cancer often do not have support as they walk through this dark journey. At Lighthouse, we want to help these families find support. The Community of Care program focuses on serving the entire family - the child on treatment, siblings, and parents. It is designed to allow you to be the hands and feet of Jesus through service in the midst of your busy schedule with ease.

We'll support you...
LFR supplies you with Welcome & Care Team Boxes for your team to launch a kickoff party as you begin this journey.
LFR gives you an opportunity to connect and pour out all the blessings you have been given to a Care Family in need.
LFR equips with you with instructions, ideas, and resources you need to put together a plan to support your family.
LFR provides staff support to you and your Care Team. From casting vision to launching your team, we will prepare and equip you to serve well.
