Lighthouse is headed out west, and we want you to join us! We are thrilled to be hosting a weekend retreat at the resort-style Trail West Lodge to give you and your family a much-needed break from the chaos of cancer.
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT A WEEKEND RETREAT?
We’re so glad you asked! Nestled in beautiful Buena Vista, Colorado, Trail West Lodge is a Young Life resort-style camp. ​For the past 60 years, Young Life continues to set the standard for camps by building state-of-the-art, comfortable, well-designed facilities, all centered around God’s wonderful creation.
From first class amenities to hotel-style lodging, this site will satisfy the relaxation you and your family are craving. Grab a cup of coffee at Goldbrick's Coffee Shop, go on a family horseback ride and fly through the trees on the ropes course. There’s something for everyone at Trail West Lodge! Parents and kids alike will enjoy activities, lodging and meals, all provided at no cost. Activities of the weekend include ropes course, archery, bb gun range, marked hiking trails, hayrides, crafts, and more!

Aside from the amazing property, we have incredible volunteer families attending who are excited to welcome and serve you. Volunteer families will supervise activities for kids, while mom and dad take time to connect, share and fellowship with other parents living through childhood cancer.
ABOUT THE EVENT

During this weekend long event, families living through childhood cancer are served by volunteers who are dedicated to providing a break from the chaos that comes with childhood cancer allowing families to focus on having fun, relaxing, reconnecting as a couple, and just spending time together.

There is no cost for your family to attend a Weekend Retreat: all planned activities are included.
​
Our program offers fun, family-centered activities to help families living through childhood cancer "feel like a family" again. Parents will connect in a small group environment that provides you a safe place for you to share and fellowship with others living through childhood cancer. For children, kids get to just be kids with time spent playing in a caring environment supervised by volunteers. Time together is intentional and we strive to pour into the entire family, your kids, and your connection with your spouse.
