👉 In a given year, there are over 50,000 estimated families engaged in treatment for childhood cancer.
👉 In 2018, the average cost for one child was $833,000.
HOW CAN YOU HELP US EXTEND THE IMPACT OF LIGHTHOUSE BEYOND THE BEACH?
Fund our free, no-cost resources for families living through childhood cancer. In 2020, we began a conscious effort to expand our reach Beyond the Beach by creating resources that encourage families and their support systems along the cancer journey.
To best equip these families with helpful and diverse resources, we are leveraging the vast clinical, spiritual, and personal expertise among our staff, extended Lighthouse family, and experts in the field. The Lighthouse Podcast, Perspectives Blog, 30-Day Devotional, coloring book, Monday devotional emails, and more can be accessed at any time and at no cost to families across the U.S.

These resources not only help the family on treatment, but can be invaluable to extended family members, friends and neighbors who want to help but might not know how. Our offerings can strengthen the entire community that surrounds these families in their battle.

Before attending the Atlanta One-Day Retreat, a Retreat Family did not have a church home. Following the retreat, they showed up at the host the next Sunday for service. They said attending the retreat helped them feel welcomed and cared for and they felt like the host church would be a great fit as a church home for their family!
