12 Point COVID-19 Response

1

ALL HANDS ON DECK! (ONCE THEY’VE BEEN WASHED!)

This season’s retreats are a true team effort! As a leadership team, we’ve leaned on the expertise of medical professionals as we prepare, and we know this spring and summer would not be possible without trained, dedicated staff and volunteers on site. Safety is the No. 1 priority for all involved this season.

SAFETY STARTS BEFORE YOUR TOES GET SANDY.

A negative COVID-19 test result will be required for all 2022 attendees over five years of age, regardless of vaccination status.

RISE, SHINE AND TEMPERATURE CHECK.

Before each day’s activities begin, temperature checks are required from each attendee each day, as part of our required daily health checks.

A CLEAN HOME IS A HAPPY HOME.

All condos and common areas will be cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis in accordance with current CDC and State Health Department recommendations. Volunteer families are provided with a 10-step checklist for daily cleaning of a Retreat Family’s condo.

STAY CALM AND SANITIZE.

Hand sanitizer will be readily available in all areas and must be applied when entering a new space, before participating in an activity or before eating a meal.

WE’RE ALL SMILING UNDER OUR MASKS. :)

Masks may be required indoors. We will continue to monitor CDC and state health department recommendations and update all participants before retreat.

#TOGETHERAPART

During the week, group activities may be limited to a smaller gathering size.

WE TRUST THE PROFESSIONALS.

A professionally trained Medical Lead will be available 24/7 for all attendees. All in attendance will be instructed to consult the Medical Lead at the first sign of symptoms.

WE’RE DEDICATED TO ACTING FAST.

In the event that any attendee reports COVID-19 symptoms to LFR, our Medical Lead is trained to quickly assess the need for a rapid test and determine next steps.

CHALLENGES ARE A CHANCE FOR CREATIVITY.

We’ve updated our programming to creatively adhere to this year’s COVID-19 precautions, while maintaining the Lighthouse mission and positive impact on the families who we serve.

LET’S ENJOY GOD’S CREATION.

As much as possible, we’ll be outside in the open air.

THERE’S POWER IN PRAYER.

Lighthouse family, we ask that you join us in regular prayer for God’s favor over our work this spring and summer. Above all, please pray for safety.
