WOULD YOUR FAMILY HELP CHANGE THIS FOR ONE DAY?
We’re inviting volunteer families to join Lighthouse Family Retreat and Village Church as we host a free One-Day Retreat for families living through childhood cancer in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Lighthouse Family Retreat has been strengthening families living through this difficult journey for over 20 years. But we can’t do it without volunteers like you!
ABOUT THE EVENT

The event allows families to be served by volunteers who are dedicated to providing a break from the chaos of childhood cancer. This day focuses on having fun and reconnecting as a family. This happens through family centered activities in the morning and an afternoon where kids spend time playing and connecting with volunteers. The parents we serve attend a small group environment that provides a safe place to share and connect with others living through similar challenges. We invite you to serve with your whole family, as a single, or empty nesters! We recommend children be ages 4 and up to serve at the event.
All volunteers must complete a background check (if you do not already have one on file).
