LFR Staff Spotlight: Clint Perry

APRIL 4, 2017

Clint Perry is jumping in the deep end with details!  He handles all logistics for our retreats, including housing assignments, family pairings, and ordering food. He is a wonderful addition to our team this year, and we can’t wait for you to meet him!  Learn a little bit more about him here:

When did you start working at LFR?
February 2017

Clint and Kingsley

Why did you want to work at LFR?
I have always had the desire to be apart of something greater than myself, not just in my ministry but in the work place as well. Hearing the Lighthouse stories, seeing the impact they make and meeting the team that works so hard to reflect the love of Jesus into the lives of families battling the unimaginable made it a no brainer. I have friends and family that have battled various types of cancer. Having the opportunity to participate in an event that allows those battling cancer to rest, restore relationships, experience true joy and find hope in God is spine-tingling. There is also the fact that all our retreats take place at the beach 😉
What is your favorite part of a retreat?
Unbirthday/Talent show! Partay!!
What are you most looking forward to at LFR in 2017?
Building new relationships, serving more families, long days coupled with tired/delirious laughter and seeing God in all the big and small things a Lighthouse Family Retreat brings.
What’s your favorite Lighthouse retreat meal?
Low Country Boil
Pick one:
Ice cream
Favorite Cartoon
When is the last time you laughed so hard you cried?
Pretty much every time I spend time with my best friend Lash (aka Tall)
What do you like to do outside of LFR?
Hiking, running, walking, going to dog parks and exploring with my w/ my dog Kingsley. Above all, I love to travel, I love music, hanging our w/ friends and I am unashamedly obsessed with all things involving the magical world of Harry Potter – Proud Hufflepuff!
Tell me about your family:

I am the youngest of 4 siblings; 1 sister and 2 older brothers. Between my mother’s and father’s side of the family, we are 50+ strong. My mother and grandmother are my heroes, and are the glue between us all. I also live with a small dog shaped horse named Kingsley (10 month old, 90 lb Bernese Mountain Dog). My other family is my church, Passion City!
