Seven 2005 retreats marked the completion of our sixth season. Seventy-five families attended and more than 200 volunteers served at The Lighthouse. We were excited to add WaterColor as a new retreat location. Both July retreats were canceled due to storm damage from Hurricane Katrina. Our hearts continue to be with those impacted by the devastation.  

          Giving

Through the generosity of many, The Lighthouse has received a total of $2.1 million in cash donations. This year alone our retreat volunteers brought in more than $128,000 through support letters and personal gifts. We gratefully acknowledge the contributions that allow us to continue our mission to serve children with cancer and their families.
