Healthcare Partners has joined with Lighthouse Family Retreat to support us, not only financially, but by volunteering the time of their staff to serve on retreats as well as fundraising events. Healthcare Partners selected Lighthouse as part of their companies ‘Big Give’ initiative. HCP believes in giving back so they created a companywide team building project focused on giving back to deserving charities.
Not only has HCP given generously of their time and resources to serve throughout multiple seasons, but they sponsor a 5K/Fun Run in Duluth, Ga and all proceeds will go directly to Lighthouse.
Ponder Enterprises
Ponder Enterprises, Inc., a Hardee’s franchisee has partnered with Lighthouse Family Retreat for the first time in 2010. Celebrating over 26 years with Hardee’s, Ponder Enterprises, Inc. is headquartered in Donalsonville, GA, and has 24 locations in Southeast Alabama, North Florida and Southwest Georgia.
For a $1 donation at any Ponder Enterprises’ Hardee’s, customers will sign a “Lighthouse” to hang in the restaurant, receive over $10 in coupons and be entered to win SEC, ACC and Sun Belt Conference football tickets. Ponder Enterprises, Inc,. has a goal of raising $10,000 by the end of November.
St. Ives Country Club
St. Ives Country Club in Duluth, Georgia has partnered with Lighthouse Family Retreat for 8 years under the direction of Head Golf Pro, Billy Jack. Lighthouse has been the charity of choice for their annual charity golf tournament since 2003.
Much of the success of our tournament every year is attributed to the Allan Bir Family and MiTech Metals, who have graciously donated over $175,000 in the last two years as part of a matching gift initiative.
To date, St. Ives hosts Lighthouse’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
The Ecuminical Choir of Walton County
The Ecuminical Choir of Walton County held their first benefit concert for Lighthouse Family Retreat at Christ the King Episcopal Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. They’re two day concert raised $2500 for our ministry and because of their generosity we will be able to send a family living through childhood cancer to enjoy the Lighthouse experience!
St. Joseph’s Catholic School
St. Joseph’s Catholic School has been partnering with Lighthouse for several years and raises money for our ministry through a school wide fundraiser. Each grade K-12 participates in this annual fundraiser where they raise money in various ways, such as yard sales, car washes, read-a-thons etc. A chapel is held to honor Lighthouse at the end of the fundraising period, where the total raised is presented to both Lighthouse and the school.
Pure Barre Santa Rosa Beach
Pure Barre Santa Rosa Beach – owned by Ashley Singleton – chose 2 days in 2011 when all her classes will be donation-only classes. Those days will be: April 2nd, & September 8th. All donations received during these days will be given to Lighthouse Family Retreat.
