• Parents/guardians are responsible for the actions of everyone attending the retreat with them. Children should be supervised by their parents unless they are participating in a scheduled activity (i.e. Flip-Flop, Parents’ Night-Out, etc.).
• If you leave the retreat facility to shop, sightsee, or for any other reason, please take all children under 21 years old with you. The one exception to this rule is “Parents’ Night-Out.”
• Please show common courtesy and respect for all retreat participants. 
• Report any accidents, injuries, or concerns to a Lighthouse staff member as soon as possible.
• Please report any maintenance problems to a Lighthouse staff member.
• The Lighthouse volunteers are not allowed to drive The Lighthouse families.
• Never be alone with a child or someone of the opposite sex (unless it is someone in your own family). Always travel in groups of 3.
• Please notify your Family Partner if you are leaving the facility.

Privacy Policy
To protect the privacy of individuals attending the retreat, all names and situations are a matter of confidentiality and are not to be shared with anyone else or discussed in a public place.

Visitors
Please let us know if you are expecting any visitors during the retreat. All visitors need to be pre-approved by the Executive Director.

Beach and Pool Rules

• All children under 21 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent while at the beachfront/pool.
• No solo swimming (beach or pool). There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool or on the beach.
• All retreat families, volunteers, and staff should abide by the colored flags posted on the beach.
• Green Flag: Low Hazard (Calm Conditions)
• Yellow Flag: Medium Hazard (Light surf and/or currents)
  Per Lighthouse, no one in the water above their knees
• Red Flag: High Hazard (Rough conditions, such as strong surf and/or currents)
  Per Lighthouse, ABSOLUTELY  NO ONE IN THE WATER!!!!
• Double Red Flag: Water Closed to Public
• Purple Flag: jelly fish, stingrays, and dangerous fish

Other Policies

• The Lighthouse is a dry campus, no alcohol. Thank you for your understanding.
• There is no smoking in ANY of the houses during the retreat.
• No fireworks and/or firearms are allowed at the retreat.
• Sorry, no pets are allowed at the retreat.
• The Lighthouse is not responsible for the loss of any personal property. Please keep valuables locked or with you during your stay. There are not keys to individual bedrooms.
