Session 2 Retreats 

  

Volunteers will be notified of acceptance by May 9th.  

   

Retreat 7	August 26-September 1	Tuesday-Monday
Retreat 8	September 23-28	Tuesday-Sunday
Retreat 9	September 30-October 5	Tuesday-Sunday
Retreat 10	October 14-19	Tuesday-Sunday

Retreat Volunteers please follow the steps below:

FIRST, please read the updated 2008 Volunteer Covenant and the Volunteer FAQ's.

     There are 3 steps for Volunteers that need to be completed in order for The Lighthouse

      to view your application.

1. (1) Complete "My Information" (located on the left margin on the screen)
2. (2) Complete "My Volunteer Information" (located on the left margin on the screen)
3. (3) Complete "Apply to an Event" (located on the left margin on the screen)

1. Be sure to FILL OUT EVERY FIELD, do not leave anything blank.  (use N/A if necessary).
2. You will also need to click "update" on some fields in order to move to the next step.

     Please do not hesitate to call The Lighthouse at 678.290.2955 if you are having trouble with

     your online application.  We would be glad to help.

 

SECOND, complete an Online Volunteer Application. by clicking here. (plan at least 20 minutes to complete).

THIRD, print and complete the following forms:

• 2008 Volunteer Covenant (All volunteers should sign and mail to The Lighthouse)
• Volunteer Retreat Children Form (Complete this form if you are serving with your children and mail to The Lighthouse.)
• Personal Reference Form   (First Time Volunteers Only - Complete 2 Personal Reference Forms from unrelated individuals you have known for more than 5 years and mail to The Lighthouse.  If you know a Lighthouse staff member or volunteer please have them complete one of your Personal Reference Forms.
• Volunteer Background Screening Form  (First Time Volunteers Only - complete the form and mail to The Lighthouse)
