"Words cannot express how much the retreat meant to our family. We could go on and on about all the wonderful things we did and saw. The kids are still singing The Lighthouse song and talking about the talent show. The entire family felt so loved, pampered and cared for by your sweet volunteers. We can't wait until the day we return. God bless you for having such a caring heart and for giving the families who have been through so much a little piece of heaven on earth. I am continually inspired by that week and the people there and of course, the setting. I want to share two special memories I have of the trip and of course, there were many. But these two were highlights: I jogged one morning at 6am (the rest of the week I was too lazy to do so), but what I saw along the beach was like Heaven on earth; pink sand and water glowing with the rising sun (the beauty of the Lord everywhere). The other was watching Sarah and Emma run on stage during Robinhood to dance at the talent show. Sarah has always been so shy but she was swept up in the joy of the moment!"
