From donating retreat homes to sponsoring a retreat family, there are many ways you can help Lighthouse. Check out our wish list below and see if you can help us make it just a little shorter.
Every gift (from $10 to use of a beach home) is important and makes a difference in our ministry. We gratefully acknowledge all contributions that allow us to continue to serve children with cancer and their families.
Family Sponsorship: $2,500
Lighthouse is seeking individuals or organizations (schools, sports teams, churches, small groups, corporations, etc.) to sponsor families for the current retreat season. A gift of just $2500 will cover the cost of retreat activities, meals and housing for a child with cancer and their whole family. Volunteer Sponsorship: $750
Become a Volunteer Sponsor and help provide The Lighthouse with caring hands to serve the retreat families. Volunteers take care of the daily responsibilities of the retreat, like cooking and cleaning, so that families can focus on each other. If you’re interested in sponsoring a volunteer, please mail your volunteer sponsor donation to:

Retreat Donations
From meals to paper products, we have a long list of things we need to make each retreat a success.
- Host a meal (est. 120 people)
- Host Parent's Night Out (dinner at local restaurant for 30 people)
- Host an ice cream party (est. 100 people)
- Host special snack for mom's spa/pampering (12-14 adults)
- Host breakfast for parents (25 - 30 adults)
- Host a special event for a retreat/120 people (boat ride, putt putt, waterpark, etc.)
- Sponsor/support a retreat family ($2500)
- Sponsor/support a volunteer ($750)
- Donate retreat supplies (paper goods, cleaning products, craft supplies, snack foods, etc.)
Donate My Beach Home for a Retreat
Many homeowners have supported Lighthouse by discounting or donating the use of their beach property. If you own a vacation home or know someone that does along the beach communities of 30-A in Florida, Lighthouse is seeking homeowners who are willing to donate or discount their home in the Florida communities of Seaside, Seagrove, Watercolor, Rosemary, Seacrest, Gulf Trace and Grayton Beach for our current retreat season. Silent Auction Item Donation
Silent Auctions provide an opportunity for everyone to help out – items big and small are of value! If you would be interested in donating items, such as gift certificates, gift packages, vacation getaways, local services, jewelry, home furnishings, signed memorabilia, please let us know by calling our office at 678.290.2955.
Retreat Supplies Donation
Retreat supplies are a valuable gift to The Lighthouse. Gift certificates to Publix, Wal-mart, Target and Sam's Club are the best way to meet this need for this season. .
