It’s no small miracle that in just eight years, The Lighthouse Family Retreat has grown from a dream to an organization that has served more than 600 families living through childhood cancer.  Thanks to thousands of financial partners, contributors and volunteers, The Lighthouse is now a nationally recognized ministry. 

Each year families from all over the country attend The Lighthouse at no cost.  From rental home donations to financial gifts, our ministry is grateful for all the contributions that allow us to continue to serve children with cancer and their families.  As individuals and organizations continue to extend their generosity, the dream of expanding The Lighthouse to other coastal communities is becoming an exciting reality.  To accommodate more families that express interest in attending a retreat, plans to offer Lighthouse retreats outside of the Florida panhandle are in the works for the 2008 season!  

Our hope is that you'll consider partnering with the other Lighthouse donors to make even more seaside retreats for children with cancer and their families possible.
